Anomeric carbon

Today i will share with you on anomeric carbon. So let's start with the learning.

A dyad of stereoisomers that dissent in configurations around C-1 are called anomers and the C-1 copy is called anomeric element. The a and b - alternating forms of D-glucose are illustrious as anomers. In this housing, a-anomers of glucose contains the -OH gather towards aright at C-1 perspective and b-anomer of glucose contains the -OH group towards remaining at C-1 spot. So, D-glucose exists in two photo isomeric forms with diametrical particularised rotations and melting points.

Next time we will learn on delta g equation. I hope you liked this learning.
