Reptiles are animals in the (Linnaean) chic Reptilia. They are characterized by breath air, laying tough-shelled amniotic eggs, and accepting derma covered in scales and/or scutes. Reptiles are classically beheld as accepting a "cold-blooded" metabolism. They are tetrapods (either accepting four limbs or getting descended from four-limbed ancestors).
