Introduction to general science facts :

There are so many amazing facts about general science which we don’t know. Let us try to know some of these facts which is very amazing or interesting.

(1)   We can see a rainbow as a complete circle from an aeroplane.

(2)   A litre of vinegar is heavier in winter than in summer.

(3)   Swimming in a sea is easier than in a river because due to dissolved salts the density of sea water is more compared to that of a river.

(4)   Nitrous oxide is called laughing gas because it can make us laugh.

(5)   When exposed to air for a pretty long time, copper turns green.

(6)   When Ice is kept in liquid ammonia it does not melt.

(7)   A barrel of juice or wine would take about a year or two to ferment naturally into vinegar.

(8)   When Solid carbon dioxide melts, it does not change into liquid but vaporizes directly so it is called dry ice.

(9)   Quick silver is another name of mercury. It is so heavy that piece of iron floats on its surface.

(10)  If hot water poured into a glass than a glass is more apt to break if it is thick. That’s why test tubes are made of thin glass.
